VOICE Magazine is a digital magazine from Switzerland.

The latest issue was curated by our friends Russel Hergert and Peter Dean Rickards and looks at Jamaica´s capital through afflicted eyes. Regular vistors of www.afflictedyard.com will probably know most of the photography in the mag but it´s still nice to see it in an actual layout. In addition, there´s a bunch of interesting stories from and about Kingston and people who are living there. Alongside the regular magazine content, VOICE 7 offers an 11-tune playlist you can skip though while reading as well as nicely-selected videos spread between the articles (of which my personal highlight definitely is the Monty Alexander Trio´s version of “No Woman No Cry” on page 60).

P.S. You can find another good Jamaica read for the weekend in The Economist: “Gloomy Jamaica – Unfixable? The burden of debt and crime” (via Letter from Jamaica).
