Yes, it is that time of the year again!

The seen. crew leaves for London town tomorrow to enjoy three days and nights of Notting Hill Carnival madness.

Listen the latest Guardian Music Weekly podcast below in case you want to warm-up yourself or to check what you miss in case you can not make it to NHC:

This week, the podcast team have slapped on their baseball caps, William Hague style, and are sipping from a coconut in preparation for this weekend’s Notting Hill carnival.

We meet DJ Norman Jay who tells us about his favourite carnival memories and how his life changed after the riots in 1976. Then we take a trip down to Carnival Village to see how preparations are going. And we’ve got an exclusive track from the Jamaican band The Jolly Boys.

PS: Good news for all the ladies: before we leave to LDN, we will drop the ladies shirts you ordered at the post office, so you should hold them in your hands fairly soon.
