posted on December 2nd, 2010 by in Design, Fashion, SEEN

You have a reggae-loving friend and are looking for a nice Christmas present for him/her? Here we go: Two days ago, we presented a list with our top 5 books dealing with Jamaican (popular) culture – today, we look at our favourite T-shirts inspired by reggae and dancehall of the year:

SEEN. – Mad Cobra

Of course, we like what we did ourselves. Even though some shirts have sold out in some sizes in the meantime, the shirts of the seen. 2010 T-shirt collection are still available in our web shop and you can save 40% on your orders and enjoy free worldwide shipping throughout the whole pre-Christmas season. Get them while they last!

Stussy Deluxe x Al Fingers x Greensleeves – Eek-A-Mouse
Stüssy Greensleeves T-Shirts

Legendary US streetwear brand Stussy teamed up with Al Fingers and Greensleeves not only to compile a book with the first 100 covers of the label but to release a collection of tees. It is quite hard to pick a favourite as all of them feature nice Greensleeves cover artworks – but we especially dig the Eek-A-Mouse and the black logo shirt.

Upper Playground X Grotesk – Rude Boy

Upper Playground did a joint venture with designer Grotest who came up with three nice comic-style T-shirts referring to 80s dancehall culture. Unfortunately, they don’t ship to Germany from their online shop but “Rude Boy” still rocks hard.

Ma’ting – Jamaican Trek
Ma'ting – Clarks

The people from Ma’ting Wear jumped on the Jamaican trend waggon of the year and put a pair of good looking black-gold-and-green Clarks on shirt.

aNYthing – White Noise

Not the most creative design but still a very decent aNYthing typo tee and with Spragga wearing it out it had to make the list.
