Alright – this is downright the most amazing seen.-related piece of art we have seen since starting out in 2004.
Berlin-based illustrator/designer and nail artist Susanne Paschke made the finger nails of our girl Anna Love (Broken Teeth Crew) fit her seen. »Overcome« shirt.
We are really proud to be part of her portfolio which has seen designs related to brands like Mishka, Kid Robot, Chanel and Adidas amongst others before. Thanks a lot, Susanne!
PS: Check more pictures of the »Overcome« nails and make sure to start to follow Susanne’s Supa Nails nail designs blog if you haven’t been following so far.

Looks like 2010 is the year some of the most-influential international labels in the history of reggae are putting out their memoirs in book-form.
After Greensleeves collaborated with Al Fingers and Stüssy to drop »The First 100 Covers« recently, Rizzoli Books now announced the release of »Keep On Running« – The Story of Island Records.
Of equal appeal to music nerds and esthetes alike, the U.S. release of »Keep On Running« – The Story of Island Records is a collection of album art and photographs telling the story of founder Chris Blackwell’s enormous role in introducing Jamaican reggae and other fringe music to the world. (via Future Blog)
The book will be out in September.
In the meantime, make sure to watch »Do it Yourself – The Story of Rough Trade« – a nice documentary about another formative indie record label that helped making reggae music available to the world.

Our graphics boss GABE is on a killing spree right now: after a comic book he contributed to won the most renowned award for graphic novels in Germany and some of the seen. shirts he designed got picked for Typoshirt One – a book showcasing great typographical t-shirt designs, his photographic work can currently be seen in Riddim magazine (even though they basically raped some of the pictures with the layout). Also, Stüssy (!) just licensed two of his shirt designs for an upcoming collection.
Show the man some respect and support him – the easiest way to to that is currently to vote for »The Wisdom Lies in the Past« (see above), an artwork that he submitted to Threadless.

Watch out.
