Tim Turbo Thursday is a weekly DJ mix podcast hosted and curated by Tim Turbo. He selects and performs and invites handpicked guests on regular basis.

Gang sign trainees and bathroom mirrow posers. It’s Tim Turbo Thursday.

And it’s time for a guest mix again: We got Berlin’s Good Looking Boy on the decks for the second time and he mixed up some ravy electro stompers, some of his own tunes and remixes, two entrys to the remix contest he called out and seasoned it with a pinch of german street rap for you.

My Berlin and surroundings peeps should also not miss Good Looking Boy talking and playing on Radio Fritz’ Unsigned show on Friday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM CET.

Next week I will assemble the TTT again, the week after it’s gonna be on Danny Scrilla and Germany’s Funky House opinion leader DJ One Drop, then me again, and then the legendary DJ Beware will delight us. Just to give you a prospect for the next weeks. Tune in and shall your lazers be charged everytime!

Maxi King queens and water gunmen. It’s Tim Turbo Thursday!

Wow, I had a blasting weekend. It started with playing together with Danny Scrilla and Ron Foto in Cologne on Friday. And that was already a mad party. On Saturday, we were all recovering and seriously hanging over in some middle eastern food place, when DJ Beware called and offered me to fill in for him on his gig in Bielefeld, because he was having some serious pain in his back. So me and Danny also played in Bielefeld on Saturday and had a another mad night full of lazers!

Speaking of DJ Beware: This time it’s the truth and nothing but the truth: I will fire off some exclusive Bayern Funky tunes by Danny and some of my own new remixes on Beware’s FM4 Unlimited show on Austria’s number one radio station today between 02:00 and 03:00 PM CET. Tune in on www.fm4.at!

By the way, this week’s Tim Turbo Thursday is, as always, full of entrepreneurial energy and latent looping lazer bass. You’ll like it!

Lunch break pushers and holiday hookers. It’s Tim Turbo Thursday!

Of course, this week’s Tim Turbo Thursday is all Major Lazer (check my interview with Major Diplo) – I got the six biggest tunes of this great album (of which I wish I produced it myself) in the mix. Furthermore, I got new minimalistic L-Vis 1990s, tropical Uproot Andys and an accumulator fully loaded with the regular Sonnenbank Lazer rays fizzling in your auditory canals.

Me, Danny Scrilla and Germany’s only impotent rapper Ron Foto will lazer down the Subway club in Cologne tomorrow. So if you are around, make sure to cribwalk by.

Next week is gonna see not only another great Tim Turbo Thursday, but also a Tim Turbo Tuesday on Austria’s FM4 Unlimited. I’ll fire off some exclusive Bayern Funky tunes by Danny and some of my own new remixes. Tune in!

That’s it, enjoy the mix and keep practicing the Sonnenbank Lazer call: Brzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Tim Turbo meets: Diplo (Major Lazer)

Whats up lazer kids?

Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure to meet Diplo in Berlin on his little media promo tour thingy for the upcoming Major Lazer album. Instead of doing a normal Q&A, we listened to some music together and talked about it. I picked a few songs beforehand, which – in my eyes and ears – document the ongoing dialogue between Jamaican, American and European styles.

It’s Diplo versus the beats. It’s Tim Turbo trying to find the mind behind Major Lazer and it’s hopefully for your reading pleasure!
