Where is Vivian Blake?

Early this month, Jamaican media were reporting that Vivian Blake – “convicted drug lord and head of the Shower Posse” – was about to return to Jamaica on Sunday (January 4th) after spending only 8.5 of 28 sentenced years in American prisons due to a plea deal with US prosecutors. However, he didn´t show up at Norman Manley Airport. And as I haven´t heard of TG celebrating the party of the century, I guess he´s really not back yet.
It´s kind of strange now to see that the same papers that were writing about the authorities getting ready for Blake after learning of his return from BET´s American Gangster episode on the Shower Posse (via) and kind of discussing whether a man with his criminal record could be a candidate for the hangman, are totally silent about his “delay” all of a sudden. Anybody (Jamaican) out there who can explain me what´s up?
